IGN released some Madden 09 TD Celebrations. Some of the celebrations in Madden 09 are player specific where others are team specific. Of course there is the Lambeau Leap (if you want to call it that) and the goalpost dunk. Of course smaller players will do a finger roll ... lol. I also want to note that at higher skill levels (All-Pro and All-Madden), the highlighted field will not show up.

Hey guys, I just got off a conference call with EA where Ian Cummings answered some questions regarding Madden and NCAA. The EA Community Leaders were on asking Ian some very good questions and once I get the full recording I'll post the questions and answers. Until I get that I had to jump on here and just talk about a couple of the things we learned through this Q&A.
The first thing that Ian revealed to us is that now if you drop your QB past 15 yards, the passing icons will disappear. I think this is a great addition eventhough I would like to see it tweaked a little bit. 15 yards seems like a lot, but I would like for the icons to disappear after a hike and a sprint back. Meaning if they turn thier back to the LOS you shouldn't see the icons.
The second thing that EA has implemented is that on All-Pro and on All-Madden a user can no longer activate the Spectacular Catch. Now this is even better news, especially for guys who have no stick but want to choose NE and just hold the button to SPC with Randy Moss.
These are just two of the new things that EA is implementing to make the game better.
I have been writing this article for the last week or so but every time I get ready to publish it I receive more details about online play, online features, online leagues, and where EASW fits into all of this.As most of you know a couple of weeks ago I was able to attend EA’s Football Community Day where a handful of guys were able to play the new football titles (Madden, NCAA and Head Coach) for this fall.Although we did not get access to the game online we were able to talk to Ryan Ferwerda (EA’s Madden Online Guy) about online and what’s in store for us when Madden is released.
Not there ……at least not yet.
I’ve always been one of those guys who likes to get the bad news out of the way so I can end the conversation with good stuff.Before I start, please know that I’m an online guy and that I play online a lot so other than the gameplay; online features, online functions, and online stability, are right at the top of my list.So let’s get right to the disappointing stuff or lack of about online play.One of the most asked about online features that people asked me about when I told them I was going to play the game early was the ability to save depth charts online.Unfortunately this will not be available online this year.I talked to Ryan Ferwerda and Phil Frazier and they assured me that it would be in the game for 2010 (actually said they would take me to dinner if it wasn’t).I’m still disappointed about that feature not being in the game because depending on what team I play with, it takes a minute or two for me to make my adjustments and substitutions.The good thing about the game this year; that may help alleviate that, is that now you can make substitutions on the fly.Maybe that won’t be that bad, but still a bear that it’s not in this year.

Welcome to the Madden Wars Championship Series! Over the course of 4 weeks Madden Wars' members will battle online in NCAA Football on the PS3 and XBOX 360.
How will it work
For individuals participating in the MWCS it will be relatively simple. The first thing will just be to join the database by entering in your contact info at the top of the MWCS Forum. Its never too late to sign in and become part of the action and theres no limit to how many people can participate.
The MWCS will be exclusive to the PS3 and XBOX360. Beginning the day of NCAA's release you can play anyone who is involved in the MWCS, at any time, and you can choose any team you want on a game-by-game basis. Then the winner simply record the MW usernames, teams used and score by filling out a simple form that is then posted under the users MWCS Player's Profile Page.
When it comes down to it the MWCS will be easy to participate in. Its open-ended and allows for you to play matchups that you will enjoy. The aspects I will lay out below that surround the MWCS may seem more complicated but for the most part these things are out of your hands and being done for your added enjoyment.
This is a full game between the Chargers and Ravens. I (Shopmaster) am the Chargers and Russell is the Ravens. I tried to do a lot of stuff that people were looking for like dropping back, making in-game subs, formation audibles, and bluff playart. This was a good game that came down to the end. Check it out.
